As soon as they agreed to send me their eye cream for review, I was super stoked and had high expectations. Plus, they have so many other cool products on their page! Fig oil! Rhassoul clay! Oh my! Stoked, I was, and satisfied, I am.
First, let's talk a bit about the company that created the best name on the planet. I'm loving their website, as its not only aesthetically pleasing and professional, but they have oodles of info about their company and what they stand for- something I truly appreciate. I love to see what these companies stand for!
Poppy's story and values are pretty long- you can view the whole thing here. However, to sum it all up, we'll just list the Poppy Austin philosophy: "To prevent the signs of aging by using only the finest, most ethically sourced cosmetics, produced in exact accordance with Poppy’s Code." What Poppy's Code is exactly, I'm not entirely sure.

Awkward to see, I know.. really awkward. But, at least they pointed out the key ingredients, which include a variety of oils, green tea, aloe, and citruses.
So, does the eye cream live up to the expectations of this badass company name?
I think so! The product doesn't have much of a scent and its very lightweight. It absorbs rather quickly, which is really nice for any skincare stuff, but especially for eye creams- means I don't have to wait as long to apply my makeup! Also, it comes in a white, airless pump container, which, as I've drilled into your brains again and again, prevents product contamination and oxygenation.
After applying this eye cream to my skin, the area around my eyes looked bright and well moisturized. In addition, my skin tone appeared to be more even. Yay!
I'm really into this eye cream and I'm really into this Poppy Austin company. I soooo hope that they need more product opinions in the future, because.. fig oil, what!?!? I've never seen such a thing! Plus, I've been wanting to try rhassoul clay for quite a while.
In the meantime, I'll just stick with my eye cream from this badass cream. You can purchase it here, on amazon, for $22.55. Go for it!
